These EVPs were caught at a very old farmhouse in rural PA that a friend bought last year. Shortly after the purchase, she asked me to check for any "inhabitants." In 2 overnight investigations, I recorded Adult & child voices, cat's meows and possibly the cluck of a chicken. I use digital, and tape recorders. Video & still film have had some results, but the audios stand out.

The house is very friendly and has a "Please come in" feel. No threat has ever been felt, only friendliness, shyness. playfulness and maybe a tad of grumpiness. The owner has reported light touches on her hair and arms, but nothing bad. Unfortunately, since the area was settled so long ago (1790s) finding records has been very difficult, but we haven't given up yet.

I also show nothing but respect as I enter the house and conducted the "hunts." I make sure we are very careful not to taunt, threaten or anger anyone...Even if they have voiced a bit of irritation.

The second EVP was from a microcassette recorder I've never had any luck with. I just set it on the counter and left it on with the voice activation on.
