We departed Monroe, LA on our way toward Vicksburg, MS. About 25 miles east of Monroe, our RV decided it was time for the alternator to go out on us. Fortunately our Good Sam Emergency Road Service membership paid off. We called them and they summoned a tow truck to tow the RV into Monroe for repairs. Seven hours after departing from Monroe, we again started out, this time successfully. We drove around the back roads of Monroe and saw some wonderful countryside as we waited for the repairs to be done.
