Kathleen said, "This picture was taken at the local Catholic Church Halloween party on October 29, 1975. My daughter, age 12 is dressed up as the bride and her girlfriend, as 11 is dressed as the groom. The priest in the picture is
a real priest. Being that my daughter and her friend won the costume
contest, the priest "married" them just for fun. However, it seemed like
a real ceremony since he used all the words he would have if her were
marrying a couple."
"When the picture was developed years ago, this smoke column was on it. I
do not remember having a strap on the camera and no one in the church
was smoking. The small bluish streaks in the picture are from the
plastic holders in the photo album and have nothing to do with the smoke
column."
"Another very interesting thing has happened. My daughter in this picture is now 37 years old, married and has a 3 year old son. Ever since their
son was born, they seem to have odd thing happening in their home. This
is a long story. I also have a picture of their son taken a few months
ago in his bedroom with a smoke column beside him."
