About eight miles from Sierra Vista, Arizona is the Brunckow Hill which is the site of some twenty-two murders during its hayday as a mine. The Brunckow Cabin is located about half mile to the west of the mine site. The road to the cabin requires a 4W drive or a truck with a high center to navigate. An old adobe cabin with some of its walls still standing is near the mine. When we first visited this site, our Corgi BooBoo walked into the adobe cabin and immediately jumped and raced out as if she encountered something that she did not like.
